• Proper Storage: Preserve your wig’s shape by storing it in its original satin-lined luxury box, on a dedicated wig stand, or on a mannequin head.
• Blonde & Light Shades: Lighter hair colors undergo more intensive processing, making them inherently more delicate and prone to dryness. Treat your blondes and semi-blondes with extra hydration and care.
• Protect the Lace: Never apply direct heat to the lace. High temperatures will weaken the material, leading to premature shedding and tearing.
• Water Exposure: Regular exposure to chlorine, salt water, and hot water will strip the hair of its color and texture. If your wig comes into contact with these, wash and deep condition it immediately.

How to Wash Your EMM LUXURY Glueless Wig

Step 1: Pre-Wash Detangle

Gently remove any knots using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Always start detangling at the tips of the hair and gradually work your way up to the roots to prevent breakage.

Step 2: Rinsing

Submerge the unit under a stream of cool to lukewarm running water. Always handle the lace area with maximum gentleness. Once fully saturated, use your hands to press out the excess water.

Step 3: Shampooing

Dispense a small amount of premium shampoo into your palms. Smooth it through the hair using downward strokes from the roots to the ends—never rub the hair aggressively. Rinse thoroughly with cool water until it runs completely clear, then gently blot with a towel.

Step 4: Conditioning

Apply a high-quality, wig-safe conditioner (check our Instagram highlight for our top recommendations) starting from the ends and working upward. Keep the conditioner away from the wig base/knots, as this can cause shedding. Gently comb the product through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Leave it on for up to 10 minutes, or as directed by the product label.

Step 5: Final Rinse & Dry

Rinse the hair thoroughly with cold water from the top down to seal the cuticles. Gently blot out residual moisture with a towel and hang the unit to air dry naturally. Once completely dry, your luxury unit is ready to be styled!
